Dumplings (for stews or soup)

Ingredients :
250ml cake flour
5ml baking powder
5ml salt

5ml fresh or 2ml dried thyme (optional)
10ml chopped parsley


Method:
Mix all the ingredients, adding enough water to form a soft dough.
Break off bits of the dough into reasonable size pieces and places in the soup or the liquid of the stew and replace the lid of the pot.
Cook for at least 15 minutes, without lifting the lid of the pot to allow the dumplings to firm up.
